Silver - This Pokémon races across the land. It is said that North Winds will somehow blow whenever it appears.
Crystal - This divine Pokémon blows around the world, always in search of a pure reservoir.
Super Smash Bros. Melee - This mystical aurora Pokémon constantly journeys in search of places with pure running water. Suicune wields the power to instantly purify any contaminated water it finds. Some say Suicune is the North Wind reborn. Its strange and dramatic story is told over the course of the Crystal version of the Pokémon game.

  • The Chinese pronounciation of the kanji 'Sui' and 'Kun' mean 'Water Monarch'.
  • Suicune first appears in the Johto League episode Don't Touch That 'Dile!, and also plays an important role in the fourth Pokémon movie, Serebii Toki wo Koeta Deai.
